Dh432m Dubai projects approved

Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai's Deputy Ruler and UAE Minister of Finance, has approved Dh432 million worth of projects in Dubai.
The infrastructure development projects include sewerage and storm water drainage networks for the Dubai Academic City at a total cost of Dh298.3m, which is to be completed within 544 days.
Also included are sewage processing plants for the labour housing
facilities at the Al Ruwayya and Dubai Central Prison areas, which are
to be completed in 180 days at a total cost of Dh23m.
Sheikh Hamdan, who is the Chairman of Dubai Municipality, has also
approved bids for the main irrigation network project in the Al Aweer
area worth Dh111.5m.
Meanwhile, Dubai Municipality is executing sewerage projects costing
Dh1.58 billion as part of its plan to protect the environment and
public health.
