DUBAI - Emirates Airline Group have signed a contract with Emirates Marketing Promotions (EMP), a subsidiary of Emirates Post, to process the registration of ID cards for more than 35,000 of the airline’s expatriate staff in the UAE.
As per the contract, EMP counters, along with agents, have been placed in Emirates offices.
Employees are required to print and fill up a form that is sent by
email. This is followed by a payment of a pre-registration fee of
Dhs40. After sorting out the data at the concerned EMP cell, an SMS
will be sent to the employees informing them of the completion of the
pre-registration process.
For registration, the employee will have to contact the EMP counter and
fill up a barcode incorporated form. This barcode will be associated
with the employee’s file. During submission the employees are required
to give their photograph along with fingerprints.
After the data is processed, the employee will receive the ID card within two weeks by EMPOST courier.
“EMP is glad to be able to assist Emirates in fulfilling the EIDA
requirement for their expatriate staff,” said Ahmad Tahlak, CEO, EMP.
