Located at the far end of Dubai, Jebel Ali used to be completely isolated from the rest of the city. However, with the development of Ibn Battuta Mall, Media City, and Internet City, this is no longer the case. Jebel Ali is still considerably quiet and peaceful and out of the way of traffic. Although rent was initially low in this area, it has risen in recent years to match Dubai’s average rent. Facilities in Jebel Ali include The Winchester School, the Jebel Ali Resort & Spa and, of course, Ibn Battuta Mall which has something for everyone's shopping needs.
