The Palm Jumeirah – it’s very likely that you’ve seen it in a glossy magazine and ogled at it in wonder. For those of you who haven’t, the Palm Jumeirah is an enormous manmade peninsula that juts out into the Arabian Gulf. True to its name, it’s shaped like a palm tree. Once completed, the Palm Jumeirah will be a community of villas, apartments, beach resorts, hotels and innumerable facilities that will spoil its residents and guests for sure.
Even though some apartments and villas there have been moved into, there is still a lot of construction going on. This means that you may find trucks and labourers coming and going. Most of the facilities, such of convenience stores and cafés, haven’t opened yet. However, The Palm Jumeirah is a short drive away from Dubai Marina, which has an abundance of restaurants, cafés and shops.
To sum it all up, the Palm Jumeirah is truly magnificent and nothing beats having the beach at your doorstep. If you don’t mind splurging on rent or the minor inconveniences we mentioned, then you’ll love living at the Palm Jumeirah. Not to mention that you’ll be the envy of all your friends!!
