Umm Suqeim is arguably one of the best places to live in Dubai. It’s well-maintained, quiet and home to many beautiful villas. Not only that, but many of Umm Suqeim’s residents have unobstructed views of Burj Al Arab – the world’s only 7 star hotel. There are numerous schools in and around the area including the American School of Dubai and the British National Curriculum School. Having schools nearby is a great plus if you have children.
When it comes to activities and entertainment, Umm Suqeim residents are quite lucky. With Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Madinat Jumeirah at their doorsteps, they have unlimited dining and recreational facilities. Some popular choices are: the Quay Healthclub at Madinat Jumeirah, the Pavilion Beach Club at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, and Assawan Spa at Burj Al Arab.
However, these perks come with a price. In general, the villas in Umm Suqeim are just slightly lower than Jumeirah. Of course, the bigger and newer the villa, the more you’ll have to pay. There are a few older villas that need some renovation that go for much cheaper. If you don’t mind the hassle, that may be a great choice for you.
