What to Bring
Packing for a trip to a city that you know little about can be tricky. Well, we know all about Dubai and are more then happy to give you a few pointers.

Dubai is known to be sunny all year long, but believe it or not, you may need to pack some jackets. If you’re here between December and March, the weather can be chilly in the early mornings and in the evenings. If you’re planning to enjoy the outdoors, you’ll need something to keep you warm. The weather is warm the rest of the year and extremely hot during the months of July, August, and September. Although you can pack a whole load of shorts and t-shirts, less is not always more. You may find yourself more comfortable in light long-sleeved shirts so you don’t get a sun burn. Because Dubai is so hot most of the time, everywhere is air conditioned. You may find that it’s 45 degrees outside but when you get to the mall, it’s freezing! So again, pack of couple of jackets or shawls just in case. And since you’ll definitely be outside at some point, bring along some sunscreen, too.

If parting with your favourite breakfast cereal is too much to handle, bringing a box with you isn’t the only solution. Heading to Spinney’s or Carrefour, Dubai’s most popular grocery stores, may be a bit easier. Dubai is a very developed city with expatriates from all over the world. Whether you hail from the US, China, or India, it’s very likely that you’ll find you’re favourite foods here. You can even see this as an opportunity to try new foods that you never would try back home.
